Closed knit // Acne sheer tee // Acne coat // Rag & Bone jeans // Topshop Ambush boots // Proenza Schouler handbag // Low Luv ring // Karen Walker sunglasses

A look closely inspired by Caroline's outfit on carolinesmode. Love the vintage leather Burberry coat with the striped knit.

Photography Mix Bag

I received lovely feedback from you guys on the photography post, so I thought I would share a few more with you.
I can't wait for the uni year to be over so I have the time to get back into photography again.

Hope you're all well, and thank you for following and being so kind!

Packing Dilemma

Last night in bed while I was trying to shut my brain off to no avail, I was thinking about what I'm going to pack for Europe. I came up with my winter socks, my two pairs of jeans, my one knitted cardigan, boots, and well, that's it. Yes, this is what I have to wear for a month of European winter. It looks like I'll be freezing, woo.
Accordingly, my unequipped wardrobe kept me up and I was listening to my boyfriend's soft snores for quite some time.
Well these people above obviously didn't have any trouble and their pretty suitcases and perfectly packed clothes are making me very jealous.
I'm thinking either I'll raid some thrift/op shops for big jumpers and coats before I go, or freeze a little bit in Germany and raid some second-hand shops there. Or maybe both... I'm dreaming.

Street Lovin' III

An inspiring assortment of beautifully crafted outfits by those enviously creative Swedes.

All photos from stockholm streetstyle.

The other week I changed my blog url slightly and my bloglovin' did not like it. So I had to remove that blog, add the new url, and start all over again. Sorry if this has confused anyone! If you'd like to follow my blog with bloglovin' here is the new link

Shopper's guilt

I just did the naughtiest thing. I bought these Topshop 'Ambush' boots (Acne Pistol boots look-a-likes) with the little money I have that should be used for food and rent. My reasoning was because I missed out last time, I should get them quickly before they sell out. My boot obsession is worrisome I know. But they're just so stunning. I swear that from now on I will not be buying anything, apart from things I actually need to live.

As you can see, they are very similar to the Acne Pistol boot. (Sorry Acne, if I had the pennies I'd be buying them from you.)
I'm always a bit sketchy about buying shoes online because I seem to be a different size for every brand and European sizes confuse me. But I guess if they don't fit I can simply send them back.

Can't wait to wear this timeless boot with worn-out jeans, frayed denim shorts and summer dresses.

John Ciamillo

How stunning are these photos? I just stumbled upon John's work and thought I have to share. I'm blown away. His use of black & white and contrast is awe-inspiring. Check out his website for more beautiful photos.

I'm in the last week of university at the moment and couldn't be happier that this uni year is drawing to a close. As interesting as the year was and as quickly as the went, I'm so eager to spend the summer swimming in the ocean with the boyfriend, lazing all day long, reading all the books I never had the time to read, catching up with friends, and of course, spending Christmas with my family in Germany.
Have you got any fun plans for summer, or winter?

Carven '12

I know I'm a near-month late, but Carven's designer Guillaume Henry created an absolute technicolour dream for the label's spring collection. Vivid colours, tribal prints, delicious collars, colourful creepers, intricate cut-outs, and fine tailoring. I don't think it could get any better. The pieces showed off skin while remaining modest. I could wear the mustard tank, beige tailored shorts ensemble everyday for summer. In love!

River Blue

Photography is something I've been doing and loving for quite a while now, but never had the guts to properly pursue. So I guess it's my hobby. I feel like a douche or a purist in saying this, but I love film photography and find it really hard to go back to digital after shooting with such a magical medium. I think a main part of photography is shooting something and not knowing how it will turn out, until you hand your precious undeveloped film over to those guys at the camera shop and come back an hour later to find surprising images with often-strange effects. The whole process just fascinates me. One thing I'd love to have is my own darkroom where I could see the photographs appear from nowhere right before my eyes, just like I did when I studied photography in high school. Well anyway, I just wanted to share with you some (surprisingly enough) digital photos that I took of my beautiful friend last year. Even though I already have a tumblr dedicated to my photos, I'm thinking of doing regular photography posts here as well.

Hope you enjoy them, x

Low Luv

Erin Wasson's style is effortlessly cool, and so is her jewellry line LOW LUV. Here are some rings I would slip on my fingers in an instant. And that necklace could hang around my neck any day.

Coats for Europe Trip

At the end of November I'll be leaving sunburnt Australia and jet-setting to wintry Germany, a land of sub temperatures. Having grown up in NSW Australia, you will work out that I'm not great with the cold. I wish I could change this because I'd love to have full will and energy in that minus-degree European weather and enjoy it for longer than 5 minutes -- instead of straddling the central heating and being a hobo in warmed-department stores. So I'm going to try my hardest to suck it up for this trip, embrace the red nose and potential frost bite, and try to become adaptable.
Here are some coats from ASOS that would help me in doing so. Just thinking about wearing the faux fur one makes me feel cozy.
Dear Europeans -- any tips on not becoming an icicle in winter?

Guy Style

One of the most attractive things about a man (apart from being kind, funny, smart, etc.) is his ability to dress. These men definitely know what they're doing -- well, the shirtless guy isn't wearing a whole outfit, but his contrasting hair/beard is really cool.
