Bianca

Here are some shots of talented writer and new pal Bianca of Sargasso Sea from when we climbed trees and pranced among the flowers over Easter. It's always nice meeting someone new with many of the same interests, and I'm excited to work with her on our own shoot in the near future.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

It would be nice

It would be nice

StyleNanda shirt and pants / Acne loafers / Céline bag / LowLuv necklace, cuff and ring / ASOS felt hat / Chanel lipsitck / Sunglasses unknown

I have spent the whole of today stuck inside my room (NB time spent making tea and bored-eating not included) glued to my computer screen doing an assignment. I'm pretty spent, and ideally I'd love to read a book but I'm sure my brain will implode. To avoid such an event, I'm going to continue to ruin my vision and prolong my zombie-like state by staring at my computer screen further and create outfits I'd care to wear and watch superficial American tv shows that make me feel like I'm a little cool. Apologies if above test is nonsensical or if I'm rambling. Mush brain.

Golden hedges

Flora has clearly been on my mind since last week's frolic, as these shots show. The boyfriend and I have been back home in Byron this week, and a week out of the city isn't complete without climbing through pretty private property and taking photos like a badass.
I'm still trying to perfect my own curves, but I have recently come across the free curves created by talented young photographer Julia Trotti that are both inspiring and depressing because they're so lovely. I will persevere, however!

Double denim among the flowers

Asos colour block denim shirt, American Apparel denim skirt, Retro Metro hat & sunglasses (Bianca's)

Last Sunday the delightful Bianca from Sargasso Sea and I pranced among the pretty flowers and manicured hedges in the Roma Parklands, taking lots of shots along the way. We had a lot of fun and laughs, and be sure to have a look at more of the photos we took when I make another post shortly.
Have a great weekend all x

Sweater Appreciation

This wondrous sweater is featured on Jak & Jil. I think I'll be living in sweaters this winter. Any piece of clothing that feels something like being cuddled up in bed is very much desired.

Lover AW12

I know I'm late but to hell with it; this perfection must be echoed. Peter Pan collars, elegant silhouettes, high waists, plastic capes and their signature lace is all a part of Lover's 'Lydia' collection. Lover deserves its cult following, very much so.

Lina Scheynius

Second to discovering new, breathtaking photographers is revisiting photographers who you have loved and known for years but haven't recently kept up to date with. You look through their new work with a familiar eye, but can sense something is different. A fresh breath of air has drifted through, and you can see how time has not only changed you, but likewise the work of one of your favourite photographers. Lina Scheynius is a photographer whose work makes you feel complete peace through beauty, but not conventional beauty. There is something different in the eyes of her models, to the point where they don't seem like models but hazy figures of your memory. Seeing her development as an artist is unique and inspiring, and I hope she can inspire you too. You can find more of her work here.
Happy Easter!
